Katsuhiko Ando
CEO & DirectorKatsuhiko Ando has been advising Sato Aviation since 2018 and served as CEO of Dynam Aviation since its foundation in 2019. With over 35 years experience in structured and aviation finance as well as the wider aircraft leasing business, Katsuhiko brings a wealth of experience to the company as CEO.
Prior to joining Dynam Aviation, he worked for: (i) FPG Amentum (Dublin) as a Director covering the business for the 'Japanese Operating Lease' market and other 3rd party investors, (ii) BNP Paribas (Tokyo) and (iii) Royal Bank of Scotland (Tokyo) heading up various structured finance businesses.
He is a graduate of Tokyo University (BA in Economics) and International University of Japan (MA in International Relations).

Shuhei Sato
DirectorShuhei Sato is a founding member of Sato Aviation and has been serving as its director since 2016.
He has negotiated and managed multiple transactions of sale and purchase of aircraft, which include sourcing, negotiating letters of intent, and other related tasks required for aircraft financing.
Calling on his considerable experience with Sato Aviation, Shuhei has been involved with Dynam Aviation right from its foundation and has made significant contributions to ensure the successful establishment of the company. He was appointed director of Dynam Aviation in 2019 and will be playing an important role in the company's future growth.

Pat O’Brien
Non-Executive DirectorPat O’Brien joined the Dynam Aviation team as a non-executive director in 2018.
He is a Commerce graduate of University College Dublin and was a partner in KPMG for 24 years as a leading tax adviser to the Irish and international aircraft leasing and financing sectors before retiring in 2011.
Pat is also a non-executive director with a number of other leading aircraft leasing businesses.

Seiji Obe
Non-Executive DirectorSeiji Obe first joined the Dynam Group in 1998 and is involved with the management of Dynam subsidiaries (both domestic and overseas) as well as the general expansion of the Dynam Group. He has been fully involved in the establishment of Dynam’s aircraft leasing business since its inception in 2019.
Before this, Seiji was responsible for Dynam's treasury department as well as negotiating with commercial banks, leasing companies, and security companies.
Seiji worked in corporate finance for a Japanese security company for 10 years before joining the Dynam Group.

James McCarthy
Head of CommercialJames McCarthy was a Senior Director at Boeing Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, before joining Dynam Aviation. He was responsible for arranging, structuring and financing Boeing products and services. He also served as Regional Director, Marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes across Africa.
Prior to joining The Boeing Company, James was a senior analyst and portfolio manager at Richmond Capital LLP, a London based hedge fund.
James holds an honours degree in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University.

Barbara Pentony
Head of OperationsBarbara joined Dynam Aviation as Head of Operations in August 2022.
Barbara has a wealth of experience with over 25 years in commercial and military aviation.
She started her career with Omega Air and held a number of management positions in Ireland and the USA. Barbara later joined ORIX Aviation as Vice President, Asset Administration. Most recently she was Vice President, Operations at FPG Amentum.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia.

Rory Hensey
Head of TechnicalRory joined Dynam Aviation as Head of Technical in October 2022. With over 20 years’ experience in aviation, 12 years of which have been in aircraft leasing, Rory brings extensive experience to the company.
Prior to joining Dynam, he was Head of Technical with FPG Amentum, where his responsibilities included management of aircraft inspections, technical valuations, deliveries, redeliveries, negotiation of maintenance reserves, technical aspects of leases, and maintenance life assessments. Previously he has worked with Aer Lingus Regional, Pratt & Whitney, Siemens Gas Turbines and Airbus.
Rory graduated with an honours Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering Degree from the University of Limerick.

Brian Gallagher
General CounselBrian joined Dynam Aviation as General Counsel in October 2022.
Brian has over ten years’ experience working in asset finance and aviation. Brian trained as a solicitor in McCann FitzGerald and worked in their Aviation and Asset Finance team upon qualification. He subsequently worked in the inhouse legal teams in Eversholt Rail, ORIX Aviation and, most recently, FPG Amentum.
Brian holds an LL.B and LL.M from Trinity College Dublin and has been admitted to practice as a solicitor in Ireland and England.

Sam Carvill
Head of Risk and Financial AnalysisSam Carvill joined Dynam Aviation in May 2020. Prior to joining Dynam, Sam spent over seven years working for Airbus. His previous roles were in the areas of financial accountancy and airline credit analysis.
Sam is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and completed his training with Airbus Financial Services. Sam holds a bachelor's degree from Technological University Dublin in International Business and French.

Philip Hansom
VP CommercialPhil Hansom served as the Vice President of Commercial at Sirius Aviation Capital prior to joining Dynam Aviation. He was responsible for aircraft trading and airline marketing activities across the EMEA region. He also served as Vice President of Pricing and Strategy during his time at Sirius where he was responsible for overseeing the Financing and Treasury functions of the business.
Prior to joining Sirius, Phil was an Associate Director at the Korean Development Bank and prior to that he was part of the Commercial team at Sky Leasing. Phil began his career in aviation as a Commercial Analyst in SMBC Aviation Capital.
Phil holds an honours degree in Finance from University College Cork and is currently studying for a degree in Psychology.

Cillian Foale
VP TechnicalCillian Foale joined Dynam Aviation in August 2023. Cillian oversees a wide range of technical leasing activities such as management of existing assets, aircraft deliveries, transitions, maintenance reserve analysis, as well as LOI and lease negotiations.
Cillian has held various technical roles within the aircraft leasing industry, most recently working as Vice President Technical at Cross Ocean Partners. Prior to that he was with FPG Amentum and Santos Dumont. He has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Limerick.

Reshma George
Contracts ManagerReshma George joined Dynam Aviation in November 2023 as Contracts Manager. Prior to joining Dynam, she worked with Tata Singapore Airlines in the Corporate Planning department.
Reshma holds a Bachelors in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics from Christ University, India and a Masters in Statistics from Madras Christian College (MCC), India. She also holds a second Masters in Business Analytics from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
